
It's Showtime! Enjoy the International Auto Shows at Detroit's Cobo Hall
The Cobo Hall or also known as Cobo Center now is a convention center located at 1 Washington Boulevard Detroit Michigan. It was opened in 1960 and was only renovated twice. The first renovation was 1989 and the 2nd one happened recently, the center was also expanded. It is now 2,400,000 sq ft complex with 700,000 sq ft exhibition space.

One of the major events which are being held at Cobo Center is the North American International Auto Show, the largest auto shows in North America.

The North America International Auto Show was formerly known as the Detroit Auto Show, it was renamed in 1989 and Lexus and Infiniti debuted back then. The show also features most production car introduction like in 1989 Audi V8 and Chevrolet Lumina are included in the car introductions.
In 1992 there are several cars which debuted on the show. The list includes 1993 Audi 100CS Quattro, Audi Cabriolet and Eagle Vision. Concept car introduction that year includes Buick Sceptre, General Motors Ultralite and Hyundai HCD-1.
Recently theres a larg number of production car which were introduced in the show. It includes the 2011 BMW 740i/Li, BMW Z4 sDrive35is, Cadillac CTS-V Coupe and Ford Focus. Concept cars that were introduced this year include GMC Granite, BMW Concept ActiveE, Buick Regal GS and the Chrysler/Lancia Delta.
