A Must See Attraction in Detroit - Visit the World's Largest Masonic Temple
Formed during the reign of King Solomon, the Masonic Temple in Detroit is the largest Masonic temple in the whole world. Standing home to many of the Masonic organizations, the temple lies in the Cass Corridor of Detroit, in the state of Michigan in Northern America. The gigantic structure was created by the king in tribute to god whom he worshipped and adored. He had his assistants work this great work in Hiram Abiff and Hiram, king of Tyre, who are equally celebrated in the history of the nation.
On the top of the tower there is an auditorium with a capacity of around eight hundred seats. Ten of the beautifully decorated Blue Dodge Rooms are placed in various levels above the ground level. It is chiefly decorated in Gothic, Byzantine, Corinthian, ionic, Egyptian, Romanesque and Doric style. The rooms are completely true to their periods and the unused composite. The elegant ceiling art works and all the other beautiful manifestations of art throughout the building were created under the supervision of the Italian artists.
Cass Tech gives you a complete view of the building, and within the Cass corridor the complex is built. The power plant of the temple can easily supply electricity to a city with 50,000 people in it. The 10-storied Shrine Club, 7-storied auditorium building and 14-storied ritual building are all located inside the gigantic complex. The temple has hosted many remarkable concerts by popular artists such as Sting, Queen, Bob Marley and the Wailers, The Police and many more.
