Sandy's by the Beach was few blocks away - the motel was close to Murphy's Restaurant which had delicious food - approximately 3 miles distance to the Outback Steakhouse, the Olive Garden and the Whitney restaurants - 4.6 miles to the Original Pancake House and Cafe Kabob
The motel was in walking distance to Redford Theater - a few miles away from nearby nightlife entertainment - the Comerica Park, Joe Louis Arena and Motown Historical Museum were nearby

The hotel had its own security TSA lines, so it was very convenient and quick to catch a flight - the room was beautiful and overlooked the indoor courtyard
The hotel was quiet even being at the airport - the pool was awesome - room service was so fast - everyone there was accommodating and friendly
Room was clean and we really enjoyed the heavenly shower ad pillow top beds - the hotel was attached directly to the airport, very convenient - there was an excellent work desk in our room
The entire hotel was beautiful - large rooms - the lobby was nicely done - we really appreciated the park and fly service - the service offered at breakfast was beyond description
The food offered for the meeting was fine and plentiful - there were kiosks in the lobby for printing boarding tickets - beds were extremely comfortable
Seamless check in and check out - the staff at the front desk was nice - there was no airport noise - everything at the hotel was well designed, well planed and comfy

The hotel lobby is a showcase of the hotel's glory days, representing the original Italian renaissance look of these years. If you're into history, The Leland is definitely a memorable place to stay. The City Club is hosted in the ballroom of the Leland, which is supposed to be the best Goth club in the city and it is filled with a great system and lots of people. The hotel is situated in the city center, close to Fox Theater Building, Detroit Opera House, and Comerica Park. Area attractions include Ford Field and Joe Louis Arena. Main hotel amenities include complimentary parking, a bar and a fitness facility.

This was a very old hotel with a lot of history - it was definitely a cool hotel - it was got character - a fun and utterly memorable place to stay - the hotel lobby was beautiful and represents the hotel in its glory days
It hasn't been refurbished in a while - the grandeur of the hotel has been lost
The beds were actually clean and made - the water pressure was good - the staffs were super friendly - the diner in the bottom corner of the hotel was very satisfactory - the service was great, very friendly - and the food was fantastic
The prices were very reasonable - you can't beat the price in downtown Detroit- this was a cheap and great place to stay if you are partying (more…)

Very nice stay place - friendly working staff - we got to this place easily from the airport - we would like to stay here again next time

The Inn is worth every penny you spend with offering wireless internet access in public areas, exterior room entrance, out-door pool, etc.

Great dinner in Motown next door - breakfast for two people cost $12 - felt safe and secure
There was a hair in bath tub - no coffee maker in the room - clock radio did not work

The rooms were clean enough - good and cheap food was served in the restaurant - lobby was clean and upgraded - there was a nice bathroom, refrigerator, coffee maker and plenty of towels in the room
Check in was quick - 15-minute walk to casinos, bars and nightlife - reasonable priced
