City Sports Center:

This sports center in Downtown Detroit has witnessed hundreds of hockey matches over the years. If you are driving here from I-94, take south on I-75 towards I-375 exit 51C. Then take south on I-375 to E. Lafayette Ave. exit. Go east on E. Lafayette and drive 1.5 miles east to the City Sports Center. The arena is located on the left side of the road, surrounded by the Elmwood Cemetery.

If you are coming in from I-75, go south on I-75 to I-375 exit 51C. Then drive south on I-375 towards the exit named as E. Lafayette. While driving from I-96 you will have to go east towards I-94. Then drive east on I-94 towards I-75 south and exit 216A. Drive south on I-75 towards I-375 exit51C. From here, drive south on I-375 towards E. Lafayette Avenue exit and drive east to the center. From the I-75 Northbound go north on I-75 to I-375 south, exit 51. Then take south on I-375 to the exit of E. Lafayette. Drive 1.5 miles east to reach the sports center.

Dad Butler Playfield:

This is a barrier free playfield with climbing structures, swings, slides, soccer fields, baseball diamonds and even a picnic area. To get to the Dad Butler Playfield, drive to the south side of 8 mile road, between Ryan and Mound Roads.

This is the perfect place for children to get a firsthand experience of all that they learn in Science at school. To get here from Southbound Chrysler Freeway (I-75), take the Warren Avenue exit and turn right at the avenue. Then go west to Brush Street and turn right. Enter Farnsworth St and turn left. Go one block west to John R St. and turn left again. From Southbound US-10, take the Forrest/Warren Avenue exit and turn left on Forest.

The drive eastwards four blocks to Woodward Avenue and turn left. Go three blocks north to Kirby Street and turn right and then go one block east to John R Street. Turn right and go two blocks south to reach the center. From I-96, go east through the Port Huron ramp onto I-94. From Eastbound I-94, take Woodward Ave. exit and enter John R St., turn right and go six blocks south.
