Built in the year 1928 the Fox Theater in Detroit was originally a movie palace that was later converted into a theater and center for a variety of performing arts. Deemed to be a National Historic Landmark in the year 1989 the Fox Theater finds a place of honor on the National Register of Historic Places.

With a seating capacity of around 5100 people, this grand structure was a jewel built by William Fox. Remnant of the grandeur and glamour of the Roaring Twenties, the Fox Theater has been built in a unique architectural form that derives inspirations from a variety of Easter, Egyptian Asian styles.
