Position: Guest Relations Supervisor

Salary: $12.00/hour

Department: Guest Relations

Duties: Broadly speaking, the main duty of Guest Relations Supervisor is to ensure each of our guests an enjoyable tour. To be specific, Guest Relations Supervisor should carry out assignments including supervising cashiers, preparing work schedules, interacting with guests, maintaining cash control, responding to visitor inquiries and etc.

Qualifications: Guest Relations Supervisor must be able to work at weekends and nights. Two years of relevant working experience is required. A university degree is preferred. You should have some basic knowledge regarding to business principles and practices. And you must be able to accomplish your daily duties.

For candidates, you should be prepared that you need to work for at least 30 hours per week from May to August. College students are preferred. Detroit Zoo recruits volunteers every spring and fall for the busiest seasons. Volunteering at Detroit Zoo require three steps of orientation. Firstly you should learn about the volunteering program and available opportunities.
