Cobo Center Parking Information

Originally known as Cobo Hall, Cobo Center is a premier convention center in Detroit. It is also a venue used for auto shows located in downtown Detroit. The Annual North American International Auto Show and NAIAS are held in the center.

This year's auto show is coming soon. If you don't want to miss the show, plan your schedule as early as possible. To arrive at the center, you need to go to 1 Washington Boulevard, Detroit. As it is located in the heart of Detroit, the center is easily accessible from the freeways. So driving to the Cobo Center would be a convenient means of transportation.

Where to park your car at the Cobo Center? If you choose to drive to the center, you might worry about the parking problem. Cobo Center has its own parking structure. There are 2200 parking spaces attached to the center in three garages: Cobo Center Garage, Cobo Roof Deck and Cobo Arena Garage.

Cobo Center Garage: There are 600 parking spaces at this lot, located at 475 Washington Boulevard. You can access the entrance from the Washington Boulevard and East Jefferson. Cobo Roof Deck: With 1200 parking spaces, the Cobo Roof Deck is situated at 625 West Congress. Its entrance is accessible from Congress between Second and Third Streets. The hours of operation are the same as Cobo Center Garage. For more info, call 313-259-3540.

Cobo Arena Garage: The Cobo Arena Garage is seated at 900 West Jefferson Avenue, offering 400 parking spaces. The entrance of the garage is on West Jefferson Avenue. Another option is Ford Underground Garage. It is situated at 30 East Jefferson. The entrance is accessible from east Jefferson at Woodward. - From Cobo Center to Cobo Center Garage: Upon exiting at Larned, turn right at the light. Then make another right at the second light (in front of the center). Turn right into the Cobo Center Garage. The garage is in front of the main entrance to Cobo Center.

- From Cobo Center to Cobo Arena Garage: From the front of Cobo Center, continue south towards Cobo Arena to Civic Center Dr. (ramp down). At the bottom of the ramp, turn right into garage entrance.

- From Cobo Center to Cobo Roof Deck: From the front of Cobo Center, drive towards north to Congress Street. Take Congress to Third Street. Make a left and stay in right lane to circular ramp at the junction of the Second Street and Third Street.

- Parking at Millennium Parking Garage: Follow the Congress Street and go directly north between First Street and Cass Avenue. You will find the garage just west of Washington Boulevard.
