
A Great Introduction To Detroit Historical Museum: Showcases Of Contemporary History
Detroit historical museum was established in 1928 and it is one of the oldest America's largest museums dedicated to the metropolitan history. It is over 80,000 square feet of exhibition space and hosts more than 300 years of metro Detroit history. This includes the 19th century street scene known as the 'streets of old Detroit' and auto assembly known as 'the motor city'.

It is located at s400 Woodward Ave, Detroit, ML 48202. The opening hours are Wednesday- Friday 9.30am-3pm, Saturday 10am-5pm and Sunday noon-5pm. It is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. It is always closed on 4th of July, thanksgiving, Christmas eve and day, new year's eve and day.
From 1928 the museum has had three centuries of life in the region. Some of the permanent exhibits include famous streets of the old Detroit, frontiers to factories, the motor city and the glancy trains. The new ones that opened recently are the hero or villain, Metro Detroit legacy of leadership.

The Detroit historical museum seeks to showcase some of the contemporary history of the America. Some of these are about leadership, the qualities and definition of a leader, how large the city was 100 years ago, the debuts that were sung 100 years ago and still plays, the flag and official seal, and the five greatest entertainment venues in the temporary exhibit.
